Company DescriptionGwinnett Global School is Hiring! We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial teacher and leader to join our team as our 2nd-3rd grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Our team is inspired by God's love to create a garden of care and support for each student and committed to doing whatever it takes to help each student to grow. Founded in 2023, Gwinnett Global School is an independent community school with a microschool model for students in PreK3 through 5th grade, with grades 6-8 to be added in the coming years. Part of the microschool model means we are looking for teacher leaders - individuals who can contribute in specific areas of need, in addition to their classroom responsibilities, based on interest and experience.
Our Mission
Grounded in God's love for the world, Gwinnett Global School cultivates young learners from diverse backgrounds and prepares them to be resilient, globally-engaged multilingual communicators and problem-solvers, ready to lead lives of learning, service and significance.
What Makes Us Different
Gwinnett Global School provides a transformational opportunity for students from all backgrounds in Gwinnett County to experience a world-class, bilingual education, founded on God’s love and our core values of Curiosity, Courage and Care.
We believe a school is a garden that cultivates the flourishing of young people. We take each child - with all of the gifts, talents, dreams and potential they have - and nourish them with the range of care and support they need to thrive. Our students learn in small (8-12 students) mixed-age and mixed-level classrooms (PreK3-4, K-1, 2-3, 4-5). Through whole group, small group and individual instruction, our teachers guide students on individualized learning pathways, in a competency based model, allowing our students to move on to the next skill in each subject area when they are ready.
Just as we cultivate the flourishing of young people, we believe teachers should be valued, cultivated, developed and trained in a similar garden of care. You can only give to others from what you have received yourself. We want our teachers to be set up in such a way that they can continue to pour into their students because they are being supported in developing their skills as an educator and pursuing their dreams.
As a true community school, we hope to see teachers, parents and community partners come together in unity to help raise up the next generation of students. Since our students come from many different backgrounds and speak many different languages, we celebrate the tremendous resource that richness of language and culture represents. By the time our students graduate from 8th grade, they will be fluent in English and another language, proficient at connecting and engaging across cultures, and prepared to communicate, make connections and solve problems, in service of their community.
A Faith Based School for All Students
Our Mission Statement begins with the phrase, “grounded in God’s love for the world,” and it is God’s love that inspires our mission in this community. We come from a foundational Christian faith that calls us to love and serve our neighbors, and fight to see the next generation rise and thrive as leaders in our community. As a result, GGS is a school for and open to everyone, regardless of their faith background. We believe the school should represent the full range of students and families in Gwinnett county. In addition to our core academics, we will teach students an ethic of love, respect for all, and putting others and their needs before oneself, guided by our core values of Curiosity, Courage and Care. We are looking for teachers who share that mission and faith foundation and are inspired to serve the full range of students and families in Gwinnett county. Our core curriculum is not faith-based but our reason for being in this community is.
