Are you a passionate and dedicated Licensed School Psychologist looking to make a real impact in the lives of middle school students? We are excited to offer a full-time, onsite contract position for the 2025-2026 school year in the supportive school district of Yelm, Washington!

Position Details:

- Dates: 2025-2026 School Year (working to confirm specific start and end dates)

- Caseload: Middle School; approximately 750 students to 1 School Psychologist
- Setting: Onsite Only!
Job Duties of a School Psychologist:
As a School Psychologist in this supportive district, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to identify students' strengths and needs.
- Providing individual and group counseling to students addressing academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, parents, and other support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies and support plans.
- Participating in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contributing valuable psychological insights to the development of student goals and accommodations.
- Providing crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Consulting with school staff and parents on strategies to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Utilizing data to inform practice and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Requirements:
- Active Washington State School Psychologist License is required or willingness to obtain it prior to the start of the school year.
Compensation:
We offer the average competitive hourly rate of $50-$65 based on experience for this contract Licensed School Psychologist position.
