SCHEDULE: Part-time with benefits, 24 hours a week, Monday – Friday. Occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays. This position is required to work on one of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas. Hybrid schedule permitted; 50% of work is expected to be done in-office with additional onsite work required for events, meetings, and donor engagement.
Pays $25.12 per hour DOE

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Development Coordinator – Institutional Giving performs a wide variety of professional, administrative and staff support tasks. This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Institutional Giving and work closely with the Institutional Giving team. The position will coordinate the acknowledgements process; assist with outcomes tracking and data entry; proofread and edit letters, reports, and proposals; help to create collateral materials; undertake research; and assist with corporate and foundation donor relationships through visits and presentations. The position requires strong writing, grammar, research, analytical, and Excel skills as well as a collaborative mindset and extremely careful attention to detail. The position is part-time with benefits and requires a willingness to work part of the time from home and part from the office.
Requirements:
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- 1-3 years of previous fundraising, communications, or non-profit experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and active listening skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer service oriented, “can do” attitude.
- Ability to seek help and clarification around workload and prioritizing competing demands.
- Ability to work in a changing and busy team environment.
- Knowledge of and experience with MS Office, especially MS Word and MS Excel.
