A K-12 educational institution in Murrieta, CA is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support students across all grade levels. This position offers a contract duration for the current school year, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments, averaging approximately 70 evaluations throughout the school year
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
- Provide consultation to teachers and staff on behavioral and emotional support strategies
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Monitor student progress and adjust recommendations as needed based on ongoing data collection
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid California credential or license in School Psychology
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations in K-12 educational settings
- Strong understanding of federal and state special education laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time hours, typically between 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Located in Murrieta, CA
- Immediate start available
