Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' academic, social, and emotional needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention services to support student well-being
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to monitor and guide student progress
- Offering training and resources to school personnel on behavioral and mental health topics
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-age students in educational settings
- Knowledge of psychological testing, assessment tools, and special education laws
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain accurate documentation
