GA Pre-K Teacher Assistant

What you bring as a Team Member:

All GA Pre-K Teacher Assistants are expected to plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities designed to promote the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of children. You will prepare children for kindergarten using the provided curriculum. You will also assist in daily care including mealtime, changing/potty training, and nap time. You will maintain interactive and open communication with parents and other team members using our Classroom Management system. GA Pre-K Teacher Assistants will help with classroom management and the daily tasks of senior team members. You will also assist the Assistant Director and Director in classroom and facility management as directed to ensure state GA Pre-K requirements are being met in and out of the classroom.

Requirements: Must be 18 years or older or state required age. Must have high school diploma or GED and one of the following: CDA, TCC in Early Childhood Education, TCD in Early Childhood Education, Associate's, or Bachelor's in Child Care related major. Must meet all education/certification requirements to teach in a GA Pre-K classroom.

Pay: Hourly or Salary based on state GA Pre-K requirements for Assistant/Lead Teachers, compensation commensurate with education/experience/state requirements
