Adjunct Instructor, Illustration
The Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) invites applicants for a Part Time Adjunct Instructor in the Illustration Department. The ideal candidate is an innovative professional who can deliver relevant classroom experiences. We seek qualified applicants who possess current subject matter expertise, teaching knowledge, and strong Illustration skills including drawing, rendering, understanding of color and composition are required. Specifically, the candidate must be well versed in raster painting tools like Adobe Photoshop. CCAD is looking for a dynamic and engaged person for this program with significant professional experience who is energized by the challenge and promise of this opportunity. The successful candidate will work closely with the program chair and illustration faculty.
CCAD seeks a candidate who can collaboratively engage with faculty and mentor students. The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills; show initiative, dependability, empathy, and reliability. In addition, the candidate will possess the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and learning styles.

Position: Adjunct Instructor, part-time
Qualifications: A Bachelor of Fine Arts or related field is required, preferably complimented by professional experience and a minimum of three years of college level teaching experience preferred.
A terminal degree in the related field is encouraged.

- A portfolio of professional work and if applicable, a portfolio of student projects (both can either be linked to in the CV, or uploaded) (10-15 images each for professional work and, if available, 5-10 images of student projects,)
