Future Scholars is seeking an Infant Co-Head Teacher for our Infant room. Must be over 21, be nurturing, have a lively personality, interact with infants and make sure all of their developmental needs are being met, encourage infants to use and develop skills by engaging them in targeted play, soothe distressed infants by utilizing calming methods such as physical contact or verbal communication, ensuring the safety of each infant at Future Scholars, create lesson plans and implement developmentally appropriate instruction in accordance with the CT ELDS, have a basic understanding of NAEYC standards, create connections with families, must be able to work independently and collaboratively with co-teacher, and follow all diaper changing/handwashing, feeding policies and cleaning procedure. Must be willing to get CPR, FIRST AID, Med and EpiPen certified. The ability to lift up to 50lbs. The ability to utilize whole body movements including, but not limited to, kneeling, bending, lifting, holding, turning, and moving.
Position is from 8:00am-5:00pm
