A K-12 school district in Naperville, IL is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services throughout the academic year. This contract position offers an opportunity to support student development and well-being within a dynamic educational setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Providing counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to data-driven decision making
- Delivering professional guidance and support that enhances student achievement and mental health
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist certification or eligibility
- Strong knowledge of K-12 developmental, behavioral, and educational psychology
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments and data interpretation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse populations
