A Full-Time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving grades 1 and 2 in an elementary school setting in Sacramento, CA. This role focuses on providing specialized instruction and support to students with mild to moderate disabilities, fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with mild to moderate disabilities.
  • Deliver differentiated instruction that meets the unique needs of learners in grades 1 and 2.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure prehensive support.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in pliance with district and legal guidelines.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching credential with authorization for Mild/Moderate disabilities.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in grades 1-2.
  • Strong understanding of instructional strategies for mild/moderate special education populations.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with staff, students, and families.
