A K-12 educational institution in South Holland, IL is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse student population, including those with autism, during the upcoming school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide behavioral and emotional support tailored to students with autism and other special needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop intervention strategies
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Assist with crisis interventions and promote positive school climate initiatives
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license appropriate for K-12 settings
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students
- Proven expertise in supporting students with autism spectrum disorder
- Strong assessment and counseling skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with education professionals and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
