Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.

A K-12 educational institution in South Holland, IL is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse student population, including those with autism, during the upcoming school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for K-12 students
  • Collaborate with educators and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide behavioral and emotional support tailored to students with autism and other special needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop intervention strategies
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Assist with crisis interventions and promote positive school climate initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or license appropriate for K-12 settings
  • Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Proven expertise in supporting students with autism spectrum disorder
  • Strong assessment and counseling skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with education professionals and families
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Position Details:

  • Location: South Holland, Illinois
  • Schedule: 32.5 hours per week, school year calendar
  • Employment Type: Contract
