Engage in a fulfilling role as a School Psychologist for the 2025-2026 school year, providing vital support to students across multiple SESES locations in Rockville, MD. This contract position is dedicated to enhancing student well-being and academic success through a range of psychological services.
Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland State Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist.
- Preferred National Certification in School Psychology (NCSP).
- Masters degree or advanced graduate specialist degree in school psychology, or a doctoral degree in school psychology from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of data-based decision making and accountability.
- Expertise in behavioral assessments and developing interventions.
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Provide crisis intervention and psychological counseling to students.
- Collaborate with educators and outside service providers to support student needs.
- Conduct psychological assessments for educational purposes.
- Participate in problem-solving teams, including IEP and Section 504 meetings.
- Deliver training and professional development for staff on mental health and learning strategies.
