A K-12 school in Bristol, CT is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to cover a long-term leave from August through November. This contract opportunity involves a full-time mitment, five days per week, supporting students and staff during this critical period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to assist in developing appropriate educational plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student learning and well-being.
- Provide counseling and intervention services as needed.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of special education interventions.
- Maintain detailed and confidential records in pliance with legal and school policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in School Psychology.
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the relevant state.
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
- Strong knowledge of child development, assessment techniques, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
