An opportunity is available for an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year in Waynesville, NC. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique abilities and goals.
- Utilize specialized instructional strategies to support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Collaborate closely with families, therapists, and other educators to foster a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching approaches as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes engagement and learning for all students.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and parent conferences as required.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid special education teaching certification with eligibility to teach early childhood special education.
