Position Overview:
We are seeking a mitted and experienced Remote Special Education Teacher certified in Michigan to provide virtual instruction and case management to students with disabilities. This role focuses on delivering IEP-aligned instruction and maintaining pliance with state and federal special education guidelinesall within a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver virtual, differentiated instruction based on students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet the diverse academic, behavioral, and functional needs of K12 students

Track student progress, collect data, and maintain documentation aligned with Michigan Department of Education (MDE) requirements

Participate in virtual IEP meetings, evaluations, and parent conferences

Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators to ensure inclusive learning environments

Ensure pliance with IDEA, Section 504, and Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE)

Utilize online teaching tools and platforms to engage and support students virtually
Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field

Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement in Special Education (e.g., LD, EI, CI, ASD, etc.)

Strong understanding of Michigans special education laws, IEP processes, and pliance standards

Proficiency with virtual learning platforms (e.g., Google Classroom, Zoom, Seesaw, Canvas)

Excellent munication, organizational, and time management skills

Prior experience delivering remote instruction or virtual special education services preferred
