Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.

Applicants must hold a School Psychology Masters Degree or higher through the state board to be considered for the position. Those who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

State and Federal Requirements:

• Valid School Psychology license in Virginia

• Masters Degree or higher in School Psychology

• Background check and fingerprint clearance

• Understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and FERPA regulations

Job Description/Duties:

• Conduct student assessments and interpret psychological evaluations

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student learning

• Develop and implement IEPs and behavior intervention plans

• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health support

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain documentation
