Job Position: Adaptive PE Teacher, full-time, 2025-26 School Year
Location: Romeoville, IL 60446
Position Responsibilities:

Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil

Translate lesson plans into developmentally appropriate learning experiences

Evaluate pupils’ academic and social growth, keeps appropriate records and prepares progress reports

Identify pupil needs, makes appropriate referrals, and develops strategies for individual education plans

Providing an environment that supports the social development of all students.

Advocates for all learners, focusing on student achievement, and building on student successes by committing to continuous instructional improvement.

Supervising classrooms, students, and classroom staff.

Assessing student progress regularly and providing progress reports, report cards, and other documents as required.
Minimum Qualifications:

Previous experience preferred, especially with special education

Illinois Professional Educators License with Physical Education K-12 endorsement and Adaptive PE Approval
