A K-12 school is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a contract position lasting the full school year in Fitchburg, MA. This role is ideal for a professional skilled in providing psychological services and support to students across all grade levels within a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students exhibiting academic, behavioral, or social-emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student well-being.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights.
- Assist in fostering a positive school climate and promoting mental health awareness.
Qualifications:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Demonstrated experience working with K-12 student populations.
