Lead Childcare Teacher
Reggio’s Treehouse is seeking passionate and innovative Early Childhood Educators to join our team as Lead Teachers.
We believe in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which encourages children to become self-directed learners and critical thinkers through play.
As a Lead Educator, you will collaborate with the Director and Curriculum Team to create daily adventures for our students.
Your responsibilities will include creating a safe and nurturing learning environment, coordinating instructional efforts, monitoring and recording student progress, preparing lesson materials, and documenting classroom experiences.
You will also collaborate with other educators, safeguard the welfare of children, and participate in parent meetings, school events, and trips.
To qualify, you must have an: Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field with at least 12 ECE credits, OR 60 hours of college coursework with 12 ECE credits.
A Bachelor's Degree in ECE is preferred, along with at least 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare facility and familiarity with the Reggio Emilia approach.
Professionalism, dependability, flexibility, and a valid CPR/First Aid certification are essential.
