Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Lead Pre-K Teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children.

Responsibilities:

Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
Create a fun and safe learning environment
Must follow and implement lesson plans, perform monthly assessments on the children, enter WSO information weekly, and attend mandatory training (in-person & online)
Follow schedules and routines to ensure adequate instructional time, physical activity, rest, and playtime
Establish and maintain positive relationships with the assistant teacher, students, and parents
Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
Maintain the health and safety of all students by following all DECAL Childcare Licensing, Quality Rated, and GA-Pre K rules and regulations

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age
BS/BA in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field is required.
You must attend Georgia Bright From the Start training and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have excellent communication skills with colleagues and parents.
Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
Passionate about working with children
Ability to build rapport with children
Positive and patient demeanor
