Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available in Manchester, NH, for the uping school year. This contract role is designed for an educator dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs and fostering an inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to enhance student learning
- Utilize assessment data to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies
- Maintain accurate records and municate effectively with parents and guardians
- Adapt lesson plans to acmodate various learning styles and abilities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education (K-12)
- Experience teaching students with disabilities in a K-12 setting
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
