Location: Damariscotta, ME
Schedule: Full-Time, 32 hours/week
School Year: 20252026

Bilingual Therapies is seeking an experienced Educational Technician to support students in grades K8 in Damariscotta, Maine. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with substantial experience working with students requiring behavioral support and who are QBS (Crisis Intervention) trained this certification is mandatory for consideration.

Position Overview:

Provide direct instructional and executive functioning support to 13 students in K8 settings
Collaborate closely with K8 teachers, other educational technicians, and school administration
Supervise students in both special education and general education classrooms
Assist with preparation of instructional materials and implementation of behavior plans
Implement structured MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) and Special Education behavior plans
Monitor and document student academic, behavioral, and social progress
Complete annual Safety Care (Crisis Intervention) trainings

Candidate Requirements:

Ample prior experience working with K8 students in educational or behavioral support roles
QBS (Crisis Intervention) certification required candidates without this will not be considered
Experience with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) preferred
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to supporting positive student outcomes in inclusive settings

Special Requirements:

Training in QBS Safety Care (school will provide training if candidate is Educational Technician Level 2 or 3)
