Virtual School Psychologist - Tennessee (K-12, Full or Part-Time)
Are you a dedicated and licensed School Psychologist in Tennessee looking for a flexible and impactful role? We are seeking passionate Virtual School Psychologists to join our team and provide comprehensive support to K-12 students across a school district in Tennessee. Responsibilities May Include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for K-12 students.
- Interpreting assessment results and developing data-driven recommendations for eligibility, interventions, and educational planning.
- Participating in virtual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to the development and review of student goals.
- Providing direct counseling and mental health support to students through secure teletherapy platforms.
- Collaborating with school staff to implement behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) and create supportive learning environments.
- Offering virtual consultations to teachers and parents on student needs, behavior management strategies, and academic support.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential student records and progress reports.
- Adhering to all ethical and legal guidelines set forth by the Tennessee Department of Education and relevant professional organizations.
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active and valid School Psychologist license issued by the Tennessee Department of Education.
- Master's, Ed.S., or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting (virtual experience preferred but not required).
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, interpretation, and report writing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with technology and teletherapy platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
- Reliable internet connection and a professional, confidential home office setup.
Schedule:
- Full-time: Typically 37.5 - 40 hours per week.
- Part-time: Flexible hours, open to discussing schedules of 15-20 hours per week or more, based on district needs and caseload.
