Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
A long-term substitute position is available for an elementary school psychologist serving grades K5 in New Haven, CT. This full-time role begins at the start of the school year and continues through March 1, providing in-person support to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Support students in addressing social-emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Provide consultation and intervention services to promote a positive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to state regulations and school policies.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology.
- Active Connecticut state license in School Psychology.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children (grades K5).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work full-time, on-site in an elementary school setting.
