Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Diagnostician to assess and identify the learning needs of students through formal and informal evaluations. The Diagnostician will collaborate with educators, families, and specialists to support the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive educational and psychological evaluations for students referred for special education services.

Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, concise diagnostic reports.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs.

Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) or Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.

Monitor student progress and recommend appropriate academic interventions and accommodations.

Ensure evaluations and documentation comply with special education laws and policies.

Provide consultative support to staff regarding instructional strategies, classroom modifications, and behavioral supports.

Maintain accurate and timely student records and reports.

Stay current with best practices in assessment and special education regulations.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.

Valid certification/licensure as an Educational Diagnostician (as required by state or district).

Experience in student assessment and special education services.

Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and FERPA.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality.
