A school district in Blair, Nebraska, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support K-12 students throughout the academic year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic educational environment focused on promoting student well-being and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support students social, emotional, and behavioral development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure appropriate placement and services.
- Assist in crisis intervention and prevention planning.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in pliance with district and state regulations.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Nebraska.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and educational laws.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
