• Use assessments and data to inform instruction and drive student achievement.
  
• Modify instruction and classroom strategies to meet a variety of learning styles and abilities.
  
• Track and report student progress aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
  
• Create and implement effective IEPs tailored to individual student strengths and challenges.
  
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and school teams to foster academic and behavioral success.
  
• Cultivate an inclusive, student-centered classroom where every learner feels supported and valued.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (master’s degree preferred).
  
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a similar setting, preferably supporting early childhood learners.
  
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement (alternative credentials will not be accepted).
