Job Summary:

We are seeking a certified Special Education Teacher to deliver remote instruction and support to K12 students with exceptional learning needs in West Virginia schools. This role provides the opportunity to work virtually while making a positive impact on students educational progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support based on students IEP goals through virtual platforms

• Adapt and implement curriculum to meet diverse learning needs

• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support student success

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring and planning

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

• Use digital tools and resources to deliver engaging, effective instruction

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field

• Valid West Virginia teaching certification in Special Education

• Experience working with students with disabilities

• Familiarity with remote teaching platforms and digital tools

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage a virtual caseload independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with virtual or hybrid teaching models

• Knowledge of West Virginia special education laws and policies

• Endorsements in multiple disability areas or grade levels
