A K-12 school in Junction City, OR, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full academic year contract. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, educators, and families to support the mental health and educational development of children across all grade levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological evaluations to assess students cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student well-being
- Analyze and interpret assessment data to inform decision-making and support academic success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives focused on student support and mental health
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 populations, with a strong understanding of developmental and learning processes
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and interpreting psychological testing results
- Excellent munication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to confidentiality and ethical standards
