A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 school located in Jersey City, NJ. This contract opportunity spans the entire school year and provides a chance to apply your expertise in a diverse educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and support services to students to address academic, social, and emotional needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to intervention strategies
- Assist in crisis intervention and prevention programs within the school
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in New Jersey
- Experience working with diverse student populations in K-12 settings
- Strong understanding of laws and regulations related to special education
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain detailed documentation
