What Youll Need to Qualify:

To be considered, candidates must meet all state and local certification standards, including:

• A valid Texas teaching certificate for EC6 (Early Childhood through Grade 6) or equivalent elementary-level certification

• Compliance with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) regulations

• A Bachelors degree in Education or a related field (required)

• Clear background check and fingerprinting, as mandated by TEA and local district policies

• Prior classroom teaching experience is strongly preferred

What Youll Be Doing:

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in core elementary subjects

• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment

• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and learning styles

• Use data to inform instruction, assess progress, and adjust teaching strategies

• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success

• Maintain accurate records and uphold school district policies and expectations
