Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

About the Role
As a Childcare Teacher, you’ll nurture, guide, and inspire young children in a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment. You’ll be part of a supportive team that embraces learning and innovation, while meeting New Hampshire licensing standards.
Your Core Responsibilities
- Create a warm, welcoming, and friendly classroom environment.
- Develop and implement creative, play-based lesson plans aligned with NH Early Learning Standards.
- Promote positive social-emotional development and responsive care.
- Maintain compliance with NH Child Care Licensing Regulations.
- Collaborate with families and coworkers in a partnership that supports every child’s growth.
- Embrace ongoing professional learning and contribute to a culture of excellence.
NH Licensing Requirements for Teachers
To qualify as a Childcare Teacher under New Hampshire Child Care Licensing Rules, you must meet one of the following:
✅ Be at least 18 years old, and
✅ Have one of the following education/experience options:
- Option 1: A high school diploma (or GED) plus 9 college credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE), and 1,000 hours of experience working with children in a licensed program.
- Option 2: A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
- Option 3: An Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in ECE or a closely related field.
- Option 4: Be on a written plan to complete the requirements above within 12 months (with approval).
All applicants must pass NH criminal background and fingerprint checks and maintain current CPR/First Aid certification.
