Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years experience working with toddler children
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with young children
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Familiarity with state licensing regulations for preschools

Responsibilities include:

  • Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
  • Teach basic academic skills such as letters, numbers, shapes, and colors
  • Encourage creativity and imagination through art, music, and storytelling
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
  • Collaborate with Lead teachers and staff to ensure a well-rounded educational experience
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
