Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
An opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support an early childhood school in Naperville, IL, for the duration of the school year under a contract arrangement.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations of students to identify learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing consultation and remendations to support student development and well-being
- Assisting in crisis intervention and behavioral management strategies
- Maintaining accurate documentation and plying with legal and ethical standards
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in the state
- Experience working with early childhood populations
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational regulations
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
