Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Cincinnati, OH is seeking two skilled school psychologists to provide prehensive psychological services for K-12 students during the uping school year. This contract position spans from August 18th to May 28th, enpassing 197 billable days, with work schedules varying by grade level to best meet student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations, including Education Team Reports (ETR), adhering to Ohio state guidelines and timelines.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop and implement appropriate individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Provide consultation and support to staff regarding student behavioral and emotional needs.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure for Ohio.
- Proven knowledge of the ETR process and special education laws in Ohio.
- Experience working in K-12 educational environments.
- Strong munication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively while maintaining detailed documentation.
Location & Schedule:
- Position is based in Cincinnati, OH.
- Elementary school hours start at 8:00 AM.
- High school hours start at 7:15 AM.
- Contract duration: August 18th through May 28th (197 billable days).
