A licensed School Psychologist is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to support K-12 students in a school located in Pottsville, PA. This part-time, onsite role offers a hybrid schedule, allowing for a balanced approach to in-person and remote work. The position carries a K-12 caseload and is structured as a contract for the next school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological evaluations assessing cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning of students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized intervention and support plans.
- Provide counseling and therapy services for students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges, using evidence-based therapeutic methods.
- Serve as a resource for school staff by providing training on mental health, behavior management, and crisis intervention strategies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a valid Pennsylvania license as a School Psychologist.
- Master's degree in School Psychology or a closely related field is required.
- Previous experience working in school settings is preferred.
