Student Overview:Kindergarten

• Mandate: 10x/week | Group | Primarily Push-In

• Focus: Language comprehension and curriculum access in a multilingual context

• Additional Services: Speech

Kindergarten

• Mandate: 10x/week | Group | Primarily Push-In

• Focus: Tier 1 curriculum access for a new student requiring close observation and flexible support

• Additional Services: OT

4th Grade

• Mandate: 7x/week | Individual | Primarily Pull-Out

• Focus: Highly individualized academic and social-emotional support, motivational systems, and self-esteem building

• Additional Services: Speech, OT, Counseling

2nd Grade

• Mandate: 5x/week | Individual | Mix of Push-In and Pull-Out

• Focus: Foundational skill-building with reinforcement and focus support

• Additional Services: Speech, OT

Responsibilities:

• Deliver SETSS support (individual and/or small group) aligned with students’ IESPs

• Provide literacy, executive functioning, and academic scaffolding based on individual needs

• Coordinate with classroom teachers to ensure accommodations and modifications are in place

• Focus on relationship-building, especially with upper elementary students where self-advocacy and engagement are key

• Support reading interventions and extended time accommodations for students with processing or attention-related challenges

• Maintain weekly documentation and ongoing communication with families and school staff

• Collaborate with the school team to embed strategies into daily classroom routines

✅ Preferred Qualifications:

• NYS Certified Special Education Teacher (Grades 1–6 preferred)

• Experience supporting students with LDs, ADHD, and OHI classifications

• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

• Committed to inclusive, student-centered education

• Organized, flexible, and proactive in a team-based school setting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

• After school

• Day shift

• Monday to Friday
