Job Description

The Training Coordinator will manage training programs for front-of-house, back-of-house, and guest services teams, with a focus on the Team Member Recognition and Engagement Journey. This role serves as Orange Lake’s ‘super-user’ for OC Tanner and Orange at Heart programs, and oversees Medallia score tracking and reporting. The Coordinator will build strategic partnerships across departments to monitor progress and collaborate with Training Managers to recommend effective training solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

  • Training Support: Manage daily training functions including class rosters, facilitation, evaluations, data entry, supply management, and content updates. Foster communication by visiting operational areas and tracking team member learning journeys.

  • Recognition & Rewards: Track and report usage of recognition programs like Orange at Heart and Club Go. Partner with HR to evaluate recognition impact. Facilitate leadership recognition training and coordinate resort-wide awards and milestones.

  • Measurement & Reporting: Set and communicate departmental goals and metrics. Monitor weekly performance against goals, share results, and work with directors to drive engagement. Manage monthly distribution of incentives tied to performance metrics.

  • Safety & Compliance: Assist in tracking and reporting safety standards. Coordinate supply orders for compliance training and collaborate with Risk Management and Security to ensure proper team member training.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Hospitality, Human Resources, or related field preferred

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality or resort operations preferred

CERTIFICATIONS

  • Relevant professional certifications and licenses preferred
