A public elementary school in North Charleston, SC, is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the uping school year. This contract position is ideal for an educator passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to provide prehensive support
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Utilize specialized teaching techniques and assistive technology
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with state regulations
• Participate in professional development and team meetings

Qualifications:

• South Carolina Teaching License (pending or active) with endorsement or certification in Special Education
• Ability to plete credentialing requirements, including TB Test, Drug Screen, National Sex Offender Search, and Fingerprints
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and best practices
• Effective munication and collaboration skills
