We are hiring a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to lead an Autism/Life Skills K5 classroom in Blue Springs, MO. This is a rewarding opportunity to serve students with significant needs in a supportive elementary school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement life skills-based curriculum and instructional strategies

• Provide support for students with moderate to severe disabilities including autism

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as ABA, TEACCH, and visual supports

• Supervise and collaborate with paraprofessionals

• Develop and maintain compliant IEPs and data-driven progress reports

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education

• Valid Missouri Teaching Certificate in Cross-Categorical (K12) or Mild/Moderate Disabilities

• At least 1 year of experience working with students with autism and/or significant cognitive disabilities

• Strong classroom management and communication skills
