A dedicated full-time Special Education Teacher is needed for an elementary school serving students in grades K-2 for the 2025-2026 school year. This is an in-person, self-contained classroom position located in Manchester, TN. The role offers a contract for the entire New School Year (NSY), providing stability and the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of young learners.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid 461 TN Special Education teaching license is required
• Experience working with students in kindergarten through 2nd grade preferred
• Ability to manage a self-contained classroom environment
• Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and differentiated instruction strategies
• Excellent munication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet the unique learning needs of students with disabilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans
• Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth and independence
• Track and document student progress and share updates with parents and administration
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure prehensive student support
