Pay: $18–$20/hour, depending on experience

Start Date: August 2025

Position Overview:

Bridge Learning Center is looking for a warm, reliable, and growth-minded Early Learning Specialist to join our team! This role blends instructional support with front-desk hospitality and center operations. You’ll work directly with students from PreK to Grade 2, focusing on early literacy (letter recognition, letter sounds, phonics) and foundational math skills (counting, addition/subtraction, and early multiplication).

We’ll provide the curriculum and coach you in lesson planning. This is an excellent opportunity for a future educator to build teaching skills in a supportive and professional setting. You’ll also play a key role in welcoming families, keeping the space organized, and contributing to a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support instruction in early literacy and math with individuals and small groups
  • Use tools like ChatGPT and AI platforms to assist with lesson prep and student engagement
  • Greet families and provide friendly front desk support
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the learning space
  • Assist with simple administrative and facility tasks
  • Participate in coaching and feedback sessions with the Education Director

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children (tutoring, camp counselor, afterschool programs, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and a welcoming demeanor
  • Interest in early childhood education and literacy/math instruction
  • Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT and Google Workspace
  • Punctual, dependable, and eager to learn
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; current college students welcome
  • Must pass a Live Scan fingerprint background check prior to working with children

Preferred (but not required):

  • Experience with PreK–2nd grade students
  • Interest in Montessori or structured literacy approaches

Growth Opportunity:

We’re committed to developing our team. For the right candidate, Bridge Learning Center will sponsor formal Montessori assistant training.

(Note: Training costs will be reimbursed only if the employee remains with us for at least 6 months after completion.)

To Apply:

Send your resume and a short statement about your interest in early education to info@bridgelearningcenter.org. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
