A K-12 school in San Mateo, CA, is seeking a licensed School Psychologist for the uping school year on a contractual basis. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting students academic, social, and emotional well-being through prehensive psychological services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to implement interventions and support strategies
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and offer expert guidance on behavioral and learning concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation and ply with state and federal regulations
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or license
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Knowledge of assessment tools, data analysis, and special education laws
