A school district in Vancouver, WA is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support elementary students across two school buildings for the uping academic year. This contract position runs from August 26, 2025, to December 5, 2025, with a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students' learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services tailored to elementary-aged children
- Support the implementation of school-wide behavioral programs and crisis intervention
- Maintain accurate documentation and ply with district policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary age groups preferred
- Strong understanding of assessment tools and special education processes
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 445 students across multiple buildings
- Candidates must be available to work in person on site
