Under the leadership of the ImagingWorks Program Director, the ImagingWorks Student Coordinator shares responsibility for the day-to-day management of the ImagingWorks program, supporting and facilitating the program in all stages: Recruitment, assessment, and enrollment; online didactic and onsite clinical studies; and final documentation and tracking graduates. This includes securing and storing student data in Salesforce and Sharepoint to meet regulatory requirements, recommending supportive services and tutoring to boost retention, and staying in contact with graduates in their career paths post-graduation.
Requirements:
The successful ImagingWorks Student Coordinator will be a data- and outcomes-driven individual with prior experience delivering education or supportive services to students.
- High school graduate, GED, or equivalent vocational training, with an associate degree in social work, education, psychology, or a related field preferred
- Three years of progressively responsible work experience in career training or healthcare
- Experience in a healthcare setting providing services to patients is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with online education and learning management, Salesforce, Zoom, and Microsoft 365 suite of products
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- A valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
Key Responsibilities
The ImagingWorks Student Coordinator will assist program staff in managing the ImagingWorks program to achieve mutually agreed-upon goals and outcomes and to:
- Assist in recruitment, testing, and assessment of applicants
- Assist students with completing the DXA state exam application process, including tracking eligibility, submitting forms, and ensuring compliance with exam requirements
- Work with program staff to oversee all day-to-day training and facilitate classes as required, including site visits
- Connect students to supportive services, such as tutoring, as needed to successfully complete the program
- Work with supportive services to overcome barriers to graduation that could include support for transportation, childcare, and other basic living needs
- Participate in all other career training activities as needed, including student orientation and graduation
- Consistently enter and track student data and learning outcomes in Salesforce
- Maintain electronic and paper files in an audit-ready fashion and audit files as required
- Ensure 100% compliance with the California Department of Public Health-Radiologic Health Branch (CDPH-RHB) and California Employment Training (ETP) Panel requirements
- Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations as required
- Support alumni outreach initiatives as directed
Physical Demands
While performing the essential functions of this job, the incumbent must be able to do the following: stand for extended periods; sit for extended periods; bend and reach for filing and other job-related functions; climb up and down stairs; bend, stoop, and lift to move and retrieve materials; pull, push, and lift; reach both above and below shoulder height. Specific visual abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to inspect work visually. Manual dexterity is required to operate a computer and other office equipment. An employee must meet the physical demands described above to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
