Job DescriptionDescription:
Ohio Valley Voices is a 501C3 organization that teaches children that are deaf and hard of hearing how to listen and talk. 
The Teacher Aide is responsible for ensuring the class / program has materials available and ready, fosters equal access to the curriculum for all children, and maintains supervision of children across their day
<ul>
<li> Collects attendance sheets from teachers, check and log the sheets daily</li>
<li> Prepares, records, and delivers snack to classroom</li>
<li> Monitors children at lunchtime</li>
<li> Monitors children during nap time</li>
<li> Monitors children before and after school</li>
<li> Keeps the supply room organized</li>
<li> Keeps accurate emergency numbers of children</li>
<li> Prepares materials for teacher as requested</li>
<li> Performs other duties as requested</li>
<li> Exhibits qualities of commitment to the children and to the success of Ohio Valley Voices</li>
<li> Substitutes -teach as needed</li>
<li> Exhibits excellent relationship management skills</li>
<li> Does duties as assigned by their supervisor</li>
<li> Works well in a team</li>
<li> Demonstrates flexibility in their work responsibilities</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Ability to pass state and federal background check
