ProCare Therapy is working with a local school district to hire a passionate and dedicated Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. This is aposition where you will play a vital role in providing specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments.
Those employed for the available positions will serve as a contract worker. All pay, benefits, human resources claims, etc. will be overseen by the ProCare Therapy support staff.

Candidate Qualifications:

Active DHH teaching certification in Illinois, or eligibility to obtain

Prior experience in a school setting is preferred

Working with Middle School or High School caseloads
Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.

Provide direct instruction to students in a classroom setting.

Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive support for students.

Utilize various teaching strategies and technologies to accommodate students' unique learning needs.

Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.

Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Interview Specifics:

Applicants will go through an informal prescreening process with recruiters at ProCare Therapy to ensure qualifications are met.

Applicants will be interviewed by the school or district department lead. The interview is typically a 30 minute Zoom call.

The school/district may request a second interview where the applicant comes to campus.

In conjunction with the school/district, ProCare Therapy will offer qualified candidates the position and begin the onboarding process.
