Manufacturing Trainer
Are you an organized, detail-driven professional with a passion for fostering employee development and enhancing manufacturing processes through effective, hands-on training? We're seeking a Manufacturing Trainer to lead hands-on and classroom training for our production teams.
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for delivering and tracking structured training programs focused on the sign fabrication processes, quality standards, and safety compliance. This in-office role is part of the Process, Workflow, and Development team and plays a key role in onboarding, skill-building, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of new hire onboarding, upskilling of current team members, and the overall effectiveness of the manufacturing team. What you'll be doing:
- Conduct a variety of training sessions with manufacturing personnel, both hands-on and in classroom settings
- Work with training providers to customize content to most effectively and efficiently meet organizational goals
- Respond to and resolve training issues and questions
- Execute post-training evaluations of trainers, materials, and trainees
- Recommend training solutions, as it applies, for performance-related issues
- Post-training Quality efforts to ensure training is adopted and implemented within the department
What we're looking for:
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is a must
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in sign fabrication or a related industry
- Demonstrated experience with hands-on training and mentoring of manufacturing personnel
- Strong communication and coaching skills, especially in hands-on environments
- Working knowledge of employee relations practices, quality standards, production flow, and workplace safety
- Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and self-directed
