About the Role:
As a Special Education Teacher, youll play a key role in designing and delivering individualized learning plans for students with varying needs. Youll work in partnership with families, general education teachers, and support staff to build strong foundations for student achievement.
Responsibilities:

Create and implement tailored lesson plans in alignment with each students IEP

Provide direct instruction in both group and one-on-one settings

Conduct regular assessments and track student progress

Communicate regularly with parents and team members regarding student performance

Foster a positive, structured, and supportive learning space
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters in Special Education or related field

Valid Nebraska Special Education teaching license

Familiarity with IEP procedures and special education compliance standards

Experience in inclusive or resource classroom settings is a plus

Strong communication and teamwork abilities
