A K-12 school district in Saginaw, MI, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a contract position throughout the school year. This role offers the opportunity to support student development and well-being within a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop interventions and support plans.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust support strategies accordingly.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school climate that supports mental health and learning.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Michigan.
- Experience working with K-12 populations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and handle sensitive information confidentially.
